about me
Hi all!
Welcome to Michael’s Trading Blog!
Well, here are some little info about myself and the purpose of creating this blog….
OK….. Who’s me actually?
Well, my friends called me Michael or ML.
Interested and get fascinated with world financial markets since high school.
Educated in Minnesota & New York.
Worked in New York before September 11, 2001 and a new career path in Asia after post-911 incident.
Now resides in number of major cities in Asia, from time to time throughout the year.
The main objective of this blog is about any good trading opportuniy for stocks, mainly for Hong Kong stock market, and general trading discussion. International markets will be discussed from time to time.
As usual, please read, understand and agree with the important disclaimers as outlined in this disclaimer page, everytime you visit my blog.
This is the extension project of my another site which started on August 12, 2003: http://www.hkstock.netfirms.com/.
I didnt update that site for months due to difficulities with HTML site maintenance but I continuing received many emails from visitors urging me and requesting me to revamp and continue my site. Thus, this blog is born.
Depends on my schedules, I will update this blog before 11p.m as soon as I found good stock pick(s) or I have any good trading info to share with.
From my past 3 years experiences with web public, I always received emails asking whether I write for newspapers as frequently some of my stock picks that appeared in my old site are published 2-3 days later in newspapers. I want to clarify here I am neither a newspaper columnist, reporter nor a stock broker. In this financial sector, there are many people who are much caliber than I do and it is no surprise that more than one person having the same stock picks.
There is no Holy Grail of trading. We need a keen awareness of the changes in the market, such as trading volume, sector rotation, and general economic forces. We have to continually tune our trading skills to be in concert with current conditions.
Thank you and good luck in trading!
